31.03.2024 - Friendly match with SVL
If red vs blue is a good contrast, the teams did have contrast colored dress, however the game was played in a very similar fashion.
SVL decided to bat first under cloudy conditions and Manju / Nitesh made the ball swing with superb control.
Spinners - Nitin, Vineep, Satya and Venkat did their jobs well. Got wickets and were economical. Good to see all in form.
Raghu, Rajesh, Zeeshan also bowled well. Haris with his long run up and a smooth action was a treat to watch.
Batting was going smooth until Vineep's wicket fell and then it was upto Nitesh whom played an ultra sensible innings to carry the bat till the end and ensuring we end up on the winning side.
Rajesh also opened well with his sold defense and occasional picturesque shots. Others were all one shot wonder, something to retrospect and fill up in your profile.
A big shout out to Ashish for keeping wickets, which he has recently picked up but getting better at it every match.
