First Innings – BATCC-I Batting

Winning the toss, BATCC opted to bat first with a change in opening positions. Playing his last match for BATCC, Nitin Baba opened alongside Sasi Bhai, and the duo played cautiously, putting up 48 runs in 15.2 overs.However, right after the drinks break, wickets fell quickly — Nitin and Sanjeev departed in succession. Despite promoting Shankar and Moynul to No. 4 and 5, the middle order faltered, leaving BATCC struggling at 70/4 in 23.3 overs.

The recovery came through a crucial 54-run partnership between the experienced Sasi Bhai (66 runs) and Rajesh (41 off 46 balls), stabilizing the innings to 124/5.Then came the fireworks — MD Talha, continuing his “love affair” with SVL bowlers, unleashed an aggressive knock of 62 off 50 balls, dispatching the ball all around the park. Contributions from Vineep (16), Essa (15), and Harry (13) lifted BATCC to a commanding 251 all out in 49.5 overs.

Second Innings – SVL-III Batting

SVL started aggressively, scoring at over 6 runs an over. But thanks to early breakthroughs from Harris and Moynul, the momentum shifted.

At one stage, SVL were 147/4 in 24 overs, still in the chase needing 105 runs in 26 overs with 6 wickets in hand. That’s when the tide turned. Essa, turning from batsman to bowler, struck at key moments, while Rajesh delivered a game-changing over with two quick wickets. SVL’s collapse was inevitable — from 167/5 to all out at 191 in 33.5 overs.

Despite having only 5 bowling options, BATCC displayed exceptional discipline and skill to seal a convincing 60-run victory.
