Team Troopers, boosted by the return of the AAA pace trio, once again won the toss and chose to bat. The start was disastrous, losing 4 wickets for just 6 runs in 4.2 overs. Haris and Rajesh added some stability with a 29-run stand, but at 36/6 the team was under pressure.
It was then that U19 talent MD Essa (54 off 65) and Vineep (45) built a brilliant 114-run partnership, taking the score to 150. Later cameos from Talha and Abdul (quickfire 27 off 15) pushed the total to 216.
With the ball, the AAA pace battery struck early and relentlessly, sharing 8 wickets between them, supported by Talha, Sankara, and Rajesh. AUXCC were bundled out for just 66 runs, sealing a massive 150-run win.
This emphatic victory keeps Team Troopers on top of the table, securing progression to the Regional Liga — mission accomplished!
